HighPoint Aviation Airfield

The Cumberland Aircraft Model Society (CAMS) became an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club around 1962. The membership has diverse interests in R/C ranging from micro indoor helicopters and airplanes to giant scale gas powered airplanes and giant scale sailplanes. In between are an amazing array of aircraft types that include many electric, glow, and gas powered helicopters and airplanes, plus both powered and non-powered saiplanes.

 

The CAMS Club Meets monthly at the HighPoint Aviation airfield (weather permitting) for general flying, Electric Fun Fly Day, Helicopter Day, Annual Club Picnic, and other special events.
